Air fighter planes hovered across the thick smokey breathless air in England. The people were horrified, they were running for there lives (literally). Homes were being crushed with huge bombs, people were devastated. Shortly after the war started, families were all in there protective bomb shelters. There was one hopeless family who had the tiniest chance to survive.
Eventually, they got to the hidden bunker, all were thrown off their stuttering feet. They were all terrified to move even the smallest nerve. All that was heard was the deafening wail of the sirens. The ground shook from the booming bombs. After they got to the protective air shelter, the youngest boy ran back to the crippling house for a picture of his dad, who died in a battle against the nasty, cruel Germans. His older devastated brother grabbed the photograph of his marvelous father, as a huge colossal bomb dropped in their loving, back garden and broke an Ancient window. Their bare knees were dripping with disgusting blood. As soon as they grabbed the photograph, they got up and dashed to their individual bunker. As they got in the bunker, the older one shouted “what are you doing, you ridiculous child!” Their frightened mum screamed “just leave him alone!”
The deafening planes charge through the London air, dropping missiles on the buildings like there is no tomorrow. The alarms spread all over London, it is almost worst than pearl harbor.
In a small home, a frightened boy peers through the curtain and watches the bombs fall to the ground. The horrified boy’s mum grabs Henry and runs to alert the family.
Mum runs up stairs to get her sleeping daughter, all four of them run to the bombing shelter. Henry runs back for a picture of his Dad. Suddenly a bomb drops next to their house, the windows shatter, the picture frames glass smashes.
Henry and his older brother Brian picked up the broken picture and ran as fast as they could back to the bombing shelter, with their family where it is safe. Brian starts shouting at Henry, “Why did you risk your life for a picture, just why?” “Stop shouting both of you!” Mum shouted angrily.
Confidently the nauseating pilots of the horrific planes soared frantically through the sky dropping heavy, colossal bombs onto the helpless streets of London. The emotional, intense boy stared through the glass window at the never-ending nightmare. Bombs dropped, people screamed and fire burned right before his eyes. “Ethan!” his mum yelled “Ethan! Get away from that ancient window, gather your siblings and get in the bomb shelter. We have no time to lose!”
As quick as lightening, Ethan shot up the stairs quietly and grabbed his sisters, Mia and Lacey and brother Riley. As they went down the stairs carelessly another bomb dropped in their tiny front garden. “Quick get in the shelter” Ethan shouted. They could smell smoke coming in through the cracked windows.
Slowly,as a few of the planes flew to the ground dodging bullets,as the sirens cried out as a warning people rushed to their shelters, Ethan ran back to the half-crushed house to get the photograph of his father who was fighting in the war. Ethan was reaching out for the picture when… BOOM! A bomb had dropped and all of the ornaments had smashed bringing the photograph with them. The dusty, fragile photograph had smashed”Noooooo” Ethan squealed as he grabbed the photo and went back to the shelter.
“What did you think you were doing?, you could have been killed! Ridiculous boy!” BANG…
